Different Types of Doctors And What Are Their Specialties

We all are scared to go to doctors when we have some medical issue. However, we often get confused about whom we should go to either our family doctor or some specialist. Now the real question is that who many different kinds of specialist are there, which medical issue they deal with.

    1. General Practitioner:

    2. Paediatrician:

      They are the specialist who deals with children under 18. As body’s of childer are different from adults, they often need extra care.     3. Dentist:

      They are one of the most renowned types of doctor. A Dentist is a doctor, who deals with overall oral health. Which include teeth, gum, and gums. It is always advisable to visit a dentist once a month.

      As the name suggests, audiologist deal with hearing and listening problem. Any person has hearing aid problem or is deaf often goes to the audiologist to help them treat.

    9. Gynaecologist:

      Also known as Obstetrician. A gynaecologist is a special doctor who deals with female health often including reproductive health, menopause, and hormone problems. A gynaecologist is a popular field for women, as they can help other women too. And if it is a women doctor, the patient also is comfortable to express their problem.

    10. Neurologist:

      A neurologist is a doctor which look after the nervous system. The nervous system includes the brain, spine cord, sensory organs, and all of the nervous system. When someone has a stroke or brain homage, they will visit a neurologist.

    11. Veterinarian:

      After checking your nervous system. Now is time to take care of your pets/animals. As animals are different from us humans. Veterinarians are specialist who deals with animal both mentally and physically for example vaccination, nutrition level, general nutrition.

    12. Radiologist:

      They are usually not your first or your main doctor. They specialize in the diagnosis and treating illness form various technologies, such as  MRIs, CT scans, X-rays, and PET scans, who provide their report and analysis to you main doctor. Usually, this speciality requires technical knowledge as well.

    13. Chiropractor:

      A chiropractor is sub-specialist, which often treat with a neuromuscular disorder. They treat their patient with manual adjustment, usually, people who have a problem with their spine or posture goes to a chiropractor.

    14. Pharmacist:

      They technically not doctor, but often also plays an important role in the patient life. They often work with a pharmacy such as Nuclear pharmacy, Home infusion & chemotherapy, pharmaceutical benefit management and non-clinical pharmacy careers (Examples: Medical sales, Medical writing or Regulatory affairs).

    15. Homeopathic:

      They are similar to an ayurvedic doctor, the homoeopathic doctors are more famous in Indian sub-continent and use a combination of various herbs. Moreover, They don’t need various test report or analysis and mainly cure the problem on basis of spiritual energy.
